The Brazilian Football Association (ABA) has confirmed that Paulo Dybala, the Argentine striker who signed with Real Madrid in June, will miss at least six weeks following a knee injury suffered against Inter Milan on Saturday.

Dybala was involved in a collision with Marco Verratti during the match and suffered a dislocated knee ligament. The ABA said Dybala's rehabilitation period would be around three months, which means he will not play until mid-September.

This is likely to be a significant blow for Flamengo, as Dybala is their top scorer this season with 21 goals from 45 appearances. The club have already announced that they will be seeking medical advice from Dr. Jorge Sampaoli,Football Matches who is also the head coach of Real Madrid.

However, there is no word yet on how long Dybala will be out of action or if he will be able to return to training. It remains to be seen whether he can help Flamengo secure promotion back to the Serie A next season.

In the meantime, the team will focus on finding a replacement for Dybala and other key players such as Lucas Hernandez and Gabriel Jesus. They will also be monitoring the progress of other strikers who may have been affected by the injury, including Angel Di Maria and Edinson Cavani.

It is hoped that Dybala's recovery will be quick enough to allow him to resume playing in time for the club's Champions League matches against Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain later this month. However, it remains to be seen whether he will be available for those matches.
