Alan Franco was a Brazilian footballer who played for several clubs in his career, including Flamengo and São Paulo. He passed away on April 19, 2021, at the age of 52.
Franco began his professional career with Fluminense, where he made over 200 appearances and scored 44 goals. He then moved to Flamengo,Campeonato Brasileiro Action where he spent eight seasons and helped the club win three Campeonato Brasileiro titles and one Copa Libertadores title. In 2007, Franco signed with São Paulo, where he played until 2016.
During his time with São Paulo, Franco won two Campeonato Paulista titles and one Copa do Brasil title. He also had a brief stint with Cruzeiro in Brazil before retiring from playing professionally.
