Yuki Maeda is a Japanese forward who has been playing for Monaco in the French Ligue 1 since January 2020. He has scored three goals in his first season with the club, which is not bad considering he only had four games before being injured.

Maeda made his debut for Monaco on February 27th, 2020, and immediately showed why he was so highly regarded as one of Japan's top players. In just his second game, he scored two goals against Guingamp to help his team win 4-2. This performance earned him a place in the starting lineup for the following match against Montpellier.

Maeda continued to impress during the remainder of the season, scoring six more goals and assisting another five. His performances were particularly notable against Olympique de Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain,Saudi Pro League Focus where he netted two goals each. Despite this impressive start to his career at Monaco, Maeda suffered a serious knee injury that kept him out of action until late March.

Maeda returned to the field in April and has continued to score goals for Monaco ever since. As of now, he has scored three goals in his first season with the club, which is a good showing for someone who is still relatively new to the league. It will be interesting to see how Maeda continues to perform over the course of the rest of the season, especially given his recent return from injury.
