Takumi Minamino is a Japanese professional football player who plays as a midfielder for AS Monaco and the Japan national team. He was born on September 1, 1996, in Osaka, Japan. Minamino started his career at the youth level with Tokyo FC before moving to Hoshizaki Yuzuru F.C., where he made his debut in the J.League.

In 2015, Minamino moved to Japan's top flight, the Super League, joining Yokohama F. Marinos. In his first season, Minamino scored 14 goals and helped the club win the league title.
